May 25, 2010

 

1. Call meeting to order 7:33pm.

 

1. Teams Present: All Teams Present (Legal Cougars, Thorhild Bombers, Barrhead Bulls, Busby Bandits, Villeneuve Vixens, Cardiff Coyote Ugly, Cardiff Outlaws, St Albert Saints)

 

1. Additions to the agenda: #5. Rosters Due, added a. Games Played

 

1. League Fees: All teams paid league fees.

 

1. Rosters: Ashley moved and Colleen 2^nd to have the roster deadline extended to Monday, June 14.  Can be faxed or emailed to Colleen fax 780-961-3399 or email callison@mcsnet.ca. 

a.       Games Played: Teren moved and Heather 2^nd to have the minimum number of games played to be changed from 3 games to 2 games in order to play in the final tournament.

 

1. Tournament diamonds:  Thorhild Bombers to take care of diamonds during the tournament.  There will also be no beer gardens at the tournament.

1. Tournament rules reviewed: amended

 

Player Eligibility: #1. Only players registered on the team roster and who play a minimum of TWO league game are eligible to play in the tournament.

 

1.  Tournament schedule was decided and Colleen to prepare final draft.

 

1. Team responsibilities for the tournament: Thorhild to rake and lime diamonds after each game.

 

MVP Prizes will be signed out before each game and the MVP will be chosen by the opposing team.  Teams are to mark a star by the names of the people who have received MVP from the following games while exchanging line ups, to avoid duplicates.

 

1. Other Business: Umpires are still being looked into by Colleen and Sandra.
